I didn't see anything posted on the new forum about HIll People Gear so I figured I'd get it started. Specifically, I was wondering if anyone here has a HPG Connor Pack? And what you think about it.

I don't have the Conner pack but I do have the Tarahumara and two kit bags, the original and the heavy recon. The quality is top notch.

Had the Tarahumara but it was to small for me. Sad as it was a great bag.

No Connor pack but I have 2 Taras, Recon kit bag, and an Umlindi with Palspocket. Definately tough gear.

I've got the Original Kit bag, love it. Great way to carry when you've got a backpack on. Waiststraps make it hard to carry a pistol on the waist line comfortably. I've had it a year and it's been bombproof so far. I typically keep the basics in it. Pistol, keys, wallet, firestarter and tinder, paracord etc. Great for when you are hiking around after camp is set up.

I like the Umlindi a lot. I put a recon belt on it and that takes most of the weight off my shoulders. Its not a big pack but handles overnights good and if I need more space I have a palspocket or tarahumara as a compression pocket. The shoulder harness is wide and comfortable.

I'm a shameless HPG whore. I have the original kit bag, which I wear almost every day regardless of whether or not it is socially appropriate, a Ute, a mountain serape aka wonderblanket, and some accessories. I just ordered a conner pack which I plan to use during the 5-day backpacking class in two weeks. OP I'll give you my impressions when I return.

Very cool. I carry a bunch of smaller items that seem to get lost inside a bigger bag. I've tried pullouts, stuff sacks, maxped organizers and nothing works like I want it too. I'm also looking at the TAD OP1 pouch but damn it's far more expensive.

I believe HPG stuff is still on a small sale, or it wash yesterday. Beware though, the tool roll is mostly OOS.

Nice quality stuff. I have the Unlimdi I'm wanting to sell but only because I got a different pack that fits my needs better.
