The new 4Runner is doing well and has been out on a number of adventures Some more mods have been added by me, both physical and electrical work. @Jim wow, that's a slick rig, and the scenery is fantastic. Those Falkens are the only tires I've considered swapping out for my Coopers. I'm curious to see what you think after you've put some miles on them.
Thanks! The Falkens have about 7k miles on them and so far I am pretty happy with them both on and off road. I've not had them in mud or snow yet but this is California after all. They are still really quiet on pavement and had no issues with a fully loaded rig and the trailer hitched up. There is a gas mileage hit with start and stop driving in town but I need to test it closely for a good number to discuss. On the highway for a long steady drive at 65 MPH then there is almost no hit in mpg. The size is 265-70-17 and is a P-metric without much weight gain over OEM. Falken now offers a C range version but it is a lot heavier.
It’s not mine. LoL. But it’s a BMW I8 with a custom paint job. I just saw it driving thru some neighborhood.
