I dunno, seems reasonable to me. Lots of custom makers use Aus8 and charge INSANE just below $1000 mark for thier knives......(which never ever actually get used).

I want her knife just so i can have an excuse to get it autographed by Lilly. Who am i kidding....lol....i would use the knife like all my blades.

as you might guess it is an impressive blade... 1/8" thick so it slices (and dices) like you might thing...very nimble and great for fine work which is something that may surprise you in a knife of this size...

No doubt. Similar to my BRK "Bush Seax" - a very useful blade shape with a long history behind it, for good reason.

I love the folder, always wondered about the fixed blade version. Is the spine sharpened the full length?

The spine isn’t really sharpened, it has serrations which work pretty well and has a false edge at the tip. And the sheath is excellent.
I think this knife is very underestimated.

Did alittle trail maintenance today with the rehandled "Sheffield" machete, really liking the weight/balance of it.

@Sam Wilson designed it to cover all the aspects of a survival situation. The @RedEyedHog secreted in the cap can be used as seasoning or blinding powder for example.
