@trench Seems like everyone owns a CRK so I'm just bucking the trend I guess, no offense to them, I like them OK. I post on a couple of EDC forums as well, every other post seems to be a Sebenza, so I just like being different. I also like really big knives for the most part.

Have you looked at some of the ferrum forge collaborations? Elliot really knows his stuff and they build their knives like my grampa built the bar in his house.

@Delkancott Here's the GRAYMAN DUA Ti-Ti size comparison shots I promised.

Top to Bottom: ESEE JG3, ESEE Izula Stainless Steel, Grayman Dua Ti-Ti, Victorinox ALOX Farmer

    Dua Ti-Ti versus ZT0456

What I can tell you so far is I believe this is a keeper and a solid user. Great carry size unless you have extremely large hands. The ride in your pocket is excellent. Everything is smooth, no rough edges. Rides tip up. It is fairly thin at about 1 centimeter or slightly less than 1/2". The pocket clip is different but I like it. Flips open with ease, can be opened or closed with one hand easily. Lock up is perfect and solid at about 35%. I have large hands so my pinky is just off the back of the frame when holding it but I can still grip it firmly. The jimping is large and provides great stability. Simple design means tear down and reassembly is a breeze. All torx hardware. Built like a tank but it feels fairly light in your hand, feels lighter than my ZT0456 I believe. I used my Flexx strop on it last night to lose part of that toothy edge and like the edge I got quickly and easily much better. Still razor sharp after some box cutting this morning. The finish is much more polished than my SATU, it is my belief Mike knows these will be more a daily user and does that intentionally versus the SATU which is rougher and more like a pure work or war tool. I'm extremely impressed with both the DUA and the SATU, based on what I'm seeing in the short time I've had them they'd be the very last knives I'd ever sell. These are keepers to me to be used and carried for years to come.

I liked the Dua a lot. The only reason mine went is because I was offered a trade I couldn't turn down. I'll likely pick up another Dua when I get the chance.

    Agree @CWB !!!!!!

My Southern Grind Bad Monkey Tanto with Emerson Wave feature is now "perfection"!!!!

That perfection came in that now every Southern Grind proprietary screw has been replaced with torx head screws. Now I'm just waiting on torx screws to complete the other 3 conversions. Now I can say this one is truly a "Bad Monkey", something Southern Grind needs to do on their own.
