    Was at worckcomp doctors today for my MRI results, looks like I'll be getting back surgery.

    ok one more...this little dude literally walked up to me and then suddenly stopped....I was sitting perfectly still, in multicam clothing, next to a stump.......Lil Dude was about to walk up my leg but sensed/smelled something was off.....thats no stump...thats a hooman!

    this is him making his egress up the embankment, behind me, then back down to the cobble rocks by the ocean

    In northern Maine, 1 hour NW of Bangor (skip it if you can; just another northern city).

    I'm 50 mi SSW of Katahdin. We're getting a taste of early winter tonight (20's F); teens tmw night.

    Today, I walked out back of my basecamp studio (what I call my apt).

    Here's a pic from a few days ago about 300 m south of here.

    The 2nd is my hammock camp overlooking a ravine.

    No joke! The majority of sites and petroglyphs were Hohokam, but the two pieces of colored pottery are Salado (so traded for) along with lots of flakes of argilite and obsidian (not around the area we were in) that were traded for as well. Also found a jewelry shell that came out of Mexico someplace (traditionally anyway). Bounus was we even found some archaic petroglyphs that predated Hohokam culture. It was an awesome spot!
