Great news, everyone! We just got a new (to us) shipment of surplus French F1 Pup Tents. The ones we sell have the zippable mosquito net inner door, so you can open the outer flaps and get more ventiliation without getting more bug bites.

We received 54 tents, and I do not expect to get more after these are gone. Our supplier received 1000 of them from France, and we got the only 54 with the inner mosquito net doors.

Our price is $74.99. Shipping is free! Find them here on our site: https://5col.com/products/f1-commando-pup-tent-french-army-surplus

I like the design. Could you tell me how the weight breaks down? Tent, stakes and poles?

Looking for the approximate weight of each major component.

Tent Only (no stakes, stake bag, stuff sack, poles, or guy lines): 3 lb 13 oz.
    Empty Stuff Sack: 2 oz.
    Poles: 11.3 oz.
Stakes + Guy Lines + Stake Bag: 1.06 lb.

I weighed these on our shipping scales, so there may be a little bit of play in the numbers, but not too much. There are two different styles of stuff sack as well, so you may find some variation in weight there.

These are nice tents! I haven't actually gotten to sleep in mine yet but I did get it set up to apply some seam sealer and look it over. Seems like a very durable tent with good stitching. The two poles have springs in them, so no shock cord to wear out. The one I got didn't look to have ever been used.
When I ordered mine 5col also had tyvek footprints available for these tents. It fits well under the tent and even has loops stitched to it to stake it down. The tent and footprint are a good combo and a great value!

First time seeing these, man they are cool. If you have any left by my next paycheck, I'll pick one up.

Finally going to get to try mine out this weekend. Taking my daughter for her first official night tent camping. Will try to get some more pics and share my thoughts when we get back.

Really not the greatest pictures but here's a couple anyway. The tent was great! Sleeps two comfortably. I had all the vents closed as it was a bit cool last night. We were plenty warm. Had some condensation on the roof inside when we woke up but it dried quickly after opening up all the vents. No rain luckily, so I still cant comment on the waterproofness. Had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while though! Looking forward to many more!

It's nylon with some kind of waterproofing treatment on one side.
