New g-shock watch (GAS-100-1ADR) and a 20180927_103559.jpg 20180927_103715.jpg 20180927_103843.jpg 20180927_103944.jpg nitroglycerin pill necklace. I'll probably swap out the silver cheap chain with some paracord.

It was actually designed specifically for JTF2.

And as far as initial thoughts, I love it. Full stop.

Carried it out on an advanced tracking course over three days in monsoon rains, in (very) active bear country. Wouldn't have wanted any other blade on my hip.

Once I have a little more time, I'll make a full initial impressions post about it.

been wanting this blade for eons, but did not want to pay $300 for it. It went on sale today for $200 and i scooped it up.

Cold Steel Colossus - Carpenter CTS-XHP or sumtin steel, apparently knife steel nuts go all Lady Gaga for this steel......, Triad Lock, G10 slabs.......BIG ARSE LEAF BLADE. Screaming sharp out of the box. It seriously looks prehistoric.

Yeah man, the handle is amazing. Left it wet and muddy over three days with no issues, no signs of corrosion etc. The stock kydex is perfect as well. I'm going to be looking at picking up one of the MOLLE sheaths directly from Spartan for it, just so I have options.

Few of my more recent purchases include a whole new PC (i.e all the parts needed for my brother to build it), an Outdoor Research Furio Jacket, Foray Pants, a bunch of random dry bags of various sizes, an HPG Snubby Original kit bag, HPG Tool Roll, Grey Ghost Gear Paladin Belt, 5.11 TDU belt, some random soft goods including some Tactical Tailor pouches, an ITS Tactical Zip Bag, HSGI Pistol Taco, a SOF-T-W, a few 6" Izzy dressings, a Thrym Cell Vault XL, etc.

Basically, soft goods I've been needing for a while, and a new PC to finally replace my 8 year old laptop which was struggling to run Chrome.

    Been a tad busy lately...

Made an impulse buy today. Been, debating between a RAT 1 and Avispa. Saw this one at Walmart and decided to pull the trigger. I'll probably still pick up an avispa later. IMG_20180929_110921646.jpg

Scared the SHYTE out of my cat today. It’s already worth the $20 just for the comedic value. The dog wanted to take a chunk out of me until he smelled that it was me. Then he looked confused as hell.

If I drank Busch light I probably would’ve bought a Walmart pack and a Stanley razor knife
