I have question for y’all. I got a great new pack and I’d really like to put an Esee patch on it. It’s one of the older khaki colored ones. At one time it had a Velcro back but that has been removed. The area I would want to place the patch is double lined so I can’t directly sewn on the patch or can I ? Anyone ever fabric glue on one. I don’t want it to soak though on the patch or the inside of the pack. Any ideas?
I’ve used double-sided Gorilla tape to attached the Velcro, with some success. The other thing you could use is clear Shoe Patch -as contact cement. Coat both pieces, that clamp/weight for 24 hours. Shoe Patch hasn’t soaked through (at least, not for me). However, don’t use a thick layer on either side or it will squeeze out on the edges. Or, as others have suggested; sew on the Velcro: Just use a Sailor’s Palm, thread for leatherwork and go only through the outer layer of your pack. You needn’t sew a seam around the whole piece of Velcro - just tack the corners and in-between on the sides.
Thanks that is a very kind offer but I’m sure it’s not terribly expensive. Probably cost more to ship . If you’d be so kind to show me a picture I’ll pick some up.

Use Velcro. My reason being since you are not sewing it you will not create spots where moisture could get into the stitches.
