    Hello,
Also want to introduce myself :)
I am Kenny, i'm 36 years old and live in Belgium, Lokeren.
I am a huge ESEE fan for several years now and i'm happy that i found this forum to meet other people who have the same interests concerning these knives...it is something that is not so very Well known in Belgium sadly enough.
I use and collect ESEE knives now for several years to accompany me while i am working, doing my hobbies,....
I love the outdoors and ofcourse travelling.
Also love to go fishing on the north sea on a boat.
What i also like to do is bushcraft where i also use often an ESEE knife.
Hope to meet some of you people when i get the chance irl ;)

    Welcome, Nonkie.

    Had to search "Lokeren".

For me, the equivalent would be Maine, Piscataquis.

Well, no, wait, that's my county. We don't have
a large municipality nearby this far from Bangor.

Way into geography, so I enjoy learning of new places.

I would also love to see the whole world...it is always fascinating to discover new places and meet new people isn't it?

    Yes, for sure.

But speaking only for myself, I don't want to see the "whole" world ... at least, any longer. (I'm in my 60's now, feeling a little less adventurous for places too far away and culturally mysterious.) My main focus for the remainder of my life is the North Atlantic region, focusing on UK, there especially Scotland, but also Scandinavia, Iceland, maybe even up into the Arctic Circle area. I'm planning an extended visit (at least a year, perhaps forever) starting later this year or early next.

The "new" people I'm most interested in meeting are those that I suspect (from family records and stories; no DNA test yet) are my ancestors: Celt (mom's side), Saxons and Normans (dad's side), and perhaps Viking -- more wishful thinking there, but there was a colony in Argyll where mom's family was from.

I hope to meet some of our European forum members then. :)

How did I not know this thread was here? Oh well, better late than never!

I'm Simon and for my sins I live in the UK! I do stuff in the daytime to pay the bills but when when I'm not doing that I wander, camp, cook, hunt and increasingly more nowadays dabble in a bit of long range shooting.

I have used and broken most knife brands and that's what brought me to ESEE. I've not broken one yet and if/when I do I will rethink my choice! Until then I am enjoying the variety they offer and think the PR4 is a work of art!

    Anyway, good to be here!

Welcome to the living room, mate. I'll be in UK either late this year or early next for an extended visit, focusing mostly in Scotland. Glad to know they still let you lads own (carry?) blades there given the uptick in knife assaults in the cities.

Yeah, same old same old here. Those that can/need to carry still do. The UK is full of accountants and check-out operators who want to defend their right to carry a Bowie knife! Bad guys will always carry bad things, no matter what the law says!

I hunt and shoot regularly, I'm perfectly comfortable with what the law lets me carry, I don't know what all the fuss is about!

I'm right up in the North of England buddy, right by the Scottish border. If you've got time on your travels, drop me a line and I'll show you some hospitality, we could even open the range up!

Hello! I'm new to the forum but not new to ESEE. I love the ESEE ethos. I currently own a 4 and a Laser Strike (I like the choil...don't let them talk you out of it). Next on my list is a Junglas or JII (can't decide). I don't know, always wanted a 6 and an Izula, too. I'm into hunting, fishing, and general woods bumming and have been lucky enough to travel to many distant places on the planet.

I recognize a lot of you fellas from other parts of the interwebs. I'm glad to be here!

    Go Choils!

They named me Lee. Born in Minneapolis, but lived in northern, MN for the last few years. Needed to be near the woods. Substance use counselor by day. Father everyday, love being in the woods with my son and family. Love to teach them, just like my uncles did. Looking to learn more and when opportunity comes. Purchase some blades I'm searching for. Nice to meet everyone.

Welcome, @Winter . (And a couple of days ago during a brutally hot day for Maine, I would have welcomed winter, also. :)

Re reading vs typing, the latter will get one into trouble far less often than typing, anyway. Yes, I speak from experience.  ;)

    Hey Everyone!,

My name is Devin and i’m A relatively new member here (I posted once before in search of a first Esee to see what this loyal fan base is all about)

I ended up getting a cr2.5 for my dad for Father’s Day because he works outside on the property they live on and uses a knife all the time for all sorts of tasks, so I figured he would be just the right person to get one for to test it out. So far I’ve seen him carrying it every time I’ve seen him since which is awesome.

I spend a lot of time outside for work doing different wildlife surveys and have still been hoping to pick up an Esee to have with me in the field, looking forward to being part of the forum!
