I've got L/XL hands & this knife fits great. Very handy & grippy...Well Done CR! IMO sheath should be kydex tho
Well all this back and forth fretting over wether I should spend the money finally paid off! I managed to save a few dollars shy of purchasing one in pocket change SO after a serious change sorting and rolling session I now have a new Orange CR2.5 on the way Super excited about it esp after hearing the guys with big hands still loving it! Crossing my fingers it will be here soon
It figures that i order one of these over the weekend... Get the shipping confirmation today.. 3 hours later i get a notification they are having a 5% off flash sale until midnight tonight.... But at least its on the way !
SO it arrived today! Decided to do a quick slicing test with some cauliflower leaves! Well the verdict is officially out for me but im liking it so far! Knife on the left made nice thin cut and the 2.5 was able to match. The one thing the 2.5 did much better I turned 45 degrees and cut across the original slices. I was able to get nice easy cuts with the 2.5 while the kitchen knife not so much... Edit* The knife on the left is one of my preferred small slicing knives. It’s a no name sams club branded blade. They come in packs of I think 8 and when they get to dull they can be downgraded to less delicate tasks. They have a pretty good life to them and are just the right length imo. That being said you can see in the photo they are about 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch longer then the 2.5.. . I continued to chop on the cauliflower leaves for a while and noticed that the 2.5 being a little shorter then I’m use to required a slightly different approach to chopping. Is this something I think could be a issue maybe. BUT I don’t plan to do a whole lot of vegetable chopping with this blade. As was brought up in the Black oxide thread I will probbably just choose to pack one of these white knives or similiar to use for cooking and stick to the finer tasks that this blade i feel is more then capable of.

So I had my original CR2.5 that was just getting broken in when I got the g10/Black Oxide blade that I wanted to spend some time with....so I sent my original CR2.5 to Jeff Reed (@Modified_esee ) to let him work his magic....basically told him to go NUTS! I just got this pic from him and I am stoked!!! More pics when I get it back.

I would say you are well past due a conversation with your postman.....my guess is that he's showing off an orange handled CR2.5 to all the guys down at the bar!
