thankyou sir! just trying to find a dealer with reasonable international shipping and I shall have one soon.
This blade took an absolute beating this past week in the MSAR Wilderness Week class...It rode in my HPG kit bag, exposed to 4 days of rain, all week. This blade batoned kindling, cut rope, cord, and any manner of other things....it got wet and rusted and cleaned up in a matter of minutes on a strop. I took a minimal amount of kit for the week bc I wanted to really USE the CR2.5 and find it's limitations. when paired with the Gransfors Wildlife axe it really did well... Not pictured is my Leatherman MUT....that I NEVER used once....but took it for the pliers....if I had to do it again I would probably leave the SAK (sacrilege I know) and take the MUT simply for it's ability to be used in rope/rescue work situations.
This looks like a cracking wee knife. I have been carrying a bk14 as my small back up blade that can do a bit of everything, but his looks like it would do some of the fine work way better. Not to mention gutting duties. Will have to order one of these in my next big spend up. Has anyone developed a good kydex necker sheath??
I noticed and @shaneadams90 can back me up but the orange versions handles are a little narrower than the standard. It may require you to heat up the kydex to get that proper snap everyone likes to hear.
agreed...however slight the Orange g10 is slightly smaller...I had to heat up my Armatus Carry sheath and pinch it just a touch...problem solved in less than 5 min....AND my original Micarta still fits, albeit a skosh tighter.
@Simon Armstrong ... I can't wait to get your feedback once you get an opportunity to actually use it more....So many people have overlooked this blade that it stuns them once they start to actually use it in the field....It is a workhorse blade for sure!
Looks like an extremely useful/practical knife that I'd like It's just that well you know It's just so bright orange
