    Saturday morning I'm heading out to a very remote part of eastern Oregon for eight days of self-supported bikepacking. I want a good fixed blade with me, but I need to keep it minimal and light - something in the 3" blade range max (I'll also have a Leatherman Juice S4 with me). So far, I've narrowed it down to these. Input welcome...;)

    I really like the Bradford. Awesome blade, and just a great size/design for EDC. Wasn't sure how I'd like the grip, but it's not as abrasive as it looks at all. Very grippy.

    Obviously any of these knives will work so it's up to personal choice. I'd decide like this. If this trip is going to be special in any sort of way, by that I mean is it something you do all the time or is this unusual for you. If the trip isn't special in any way take the knife you would care the least if it was lost. If the trip is special than take the knife you would least like to loose and make that knife that much more special to you.

    I don't bother spending 6 months planning trips that aren't special, so you're spot on - I'm bringing a special knife. ;)

    Yup. I'm actually bringing a trailer to hook up to my bike, because I decided I need to bring a Libertariat, ESEE 6 and Dustrude saw in addition to the 6 options above. :D
