Great news, everyone! We have ESEE's Dengue Tents in stock now. This is the ESEE-branded Gossamer tent from Jack Wolfskin. This is a great little one-man tent used by Randall's Adventure & Training staff in the backcountry. Available from us for $139.99 with FREE shipping.

Those are cool. I've been without a 1 man tent for awhile, but that might have to change. I'm happy to see Jack Wolfskin back in the game. A local outfitter carried it back in the day and I was always impressed with the quality.

They are cool! One of the things I really like about this tent is that in good weather you can pitch it without the rainfly. That gives you good air circulation while still keeping the mosquitoes and ticks off you while you sleep.

Tents have changed so much since I was a kid. I used to have a little pup tent I got surplus from Philmont Scout Ranch. I took Mrs. 5col backpacking with that tent when we were just teenagers, and it collapsed on us in the night. One of many times I failed to impress her. Fun trip, though. :)

Do you happen to have the Brokeback Mountain version?

We have these surplus two-man tents. They're not specifically Brokeback-rated, but they are French. Does that count?

Did some testing with this one and it's pretty darn good. Lightweight too. Slept like a baby through 3 inches of rain one night and was dry as James Gibson's bow drill.

Looks like a nice 1 person! Just curious but did esee toss any differences into these or they exactly like the jacks?

I believe that ESEE kept with the original design on these. Maybe @Jeff Randall has more info to share on that front.
