I almost got kidnapped on a train in Morocco one time in the middle of the desert. It was right after 9/11 and Americans were not welcomed. This guy started out being nice and then tried to force me off the train in the middle of nowhere. It was like those old movies of running through the train from car to car. I switched to speaking entirely Spanish from that point on and telling everyone I was from a small island in the Caribbean called Margaritaville.

This doesn't sound very scary but at the time it was. I was in Tibet in the middle of nowhere and for over an hour, a convoy of Chinese soldiers in large trucks drove by. I mean thousand and thousands of soldiers drove right past us. Maybe even thousands of trucks. As far you could see down this road, it was trucks full of Chinese troops. I don't even know how many people it was. If someone told me it was 100,000 or 200,0000, I wouldn't doubt them. I didn't speak the language and didn't know what was going on, but all I could imagine was it was some sort of war breaking out or something. Nothing ever happened. I never found out what was going on, and they just kept driving on down the road, but I was thinking the whole time, "Dang, this can't be good!"

I've been surrounded at gunpoint 4 different times in my life! Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and once in the U.S. Some people just aren't fond of accountants, I guess.

I'm 28 and I needed to Google what the hell you guys are talking about. Friggin kids and their sexual indiscretions.

Oh no...you all exercised the demon!
Where do I begin...? I got pictures too. Joe Flowers and I were talking about these stories at SHOT in LV over a few pints!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bigfoot stories (to the death), naked guys in my face (this close Reubster...reach out and touch), no wine opener in the maloca when we had...wine! Swamp beds falling over (crazy eyes), sickness of all sorts, water damaged passports that even balanced on Patrick's head wouldn't dry enough for the Peruvian officials to let me fly. Bad doctor advice, lost passports, pee pee in the pants, rotten salami, hyperthermia, cramps and cries of, "Guys...I can't feel my legs." Our guide getting punched (by a gal), speeding away rickshaws, no toilet flushing rooms, gear disappearing (satellite phones), then reappearing, camera gear the same, termites eating through gear, black palm thorns in the hand, babies in a bar in Tamshiyacu, among other things. The shared love of the same Izula Patrick and I shared,

I think one trip we were worried they wouldn't sell us the whole, pepperoni stick ( with mold). Besides that, do we look worried or scared?
