Rappelling in Alabama

    Hit a bluff last weekend with a friend. Tried some new hitches and ran a one-person rescue haul.

    man i gotta get back into SRT rappelling. I used to spend my summers on rope, going down going up .

    Are the blankets (or what ever they are) to protect the rope from the jagged rocks?

    Yeah, it's rope protection. Even more important if you climb since the weighted rope will run up and down over the rocks.
