Got the Viper zeroed today. Two 3 rounds groups, one at 10yds and one at 15yds. Same POA and roughly the same POI. I really like it so far. I’m sure things will tighten up as I get used to it. Only 3 mags behind it so far.
So it turns out all those nice things people say about Ruike knives are true. This thing is fantastic. Cutjack is also pretty good.
^ you got hand pick em......some are not so great. Jay and Crew though are pretty damn good at selecting top notch knives and sending back those with imperfections.
Took a ride out to Hood River today—met up with Ben at EdgePro and got a demo of his machine. Put a crazy edge on my wife’s Ladybug and made short work sharpening my M4 Military. Very nice guy and a pretty cool product, I took an Apex 3 home. Keeping busy lately, but I should have some spare time next week to play with it a bit so expect my lame attempts at edge pics soon.
I love my edge pro apex. It makes short work of sharpening. Come to think of it, my Shaman needs a tune up.
It’s an instant game changer, still want to get better at freehand but with limited time for practicing at least I can still have a great edge. How you liking that Shaman? I was hovering over the complete order button on a serrated Shaman just a couple days ago.
I love my Shaman. It's replaced all the other blades in my EDC/work rotation. I carried a native 5 for a couple years so when I heard about a compression lock XL version of the native it was a no brainer for me. It doesn't slice as good as my PM 2 but the blade is more robust. The only downside is the extra smooth scales. The Shaman killed the PM2 for me.
My two recent purchases Internet photos for now The Amok hammock so far I have it strung up on my hammock stand in the back yard It is very well made, comfortable and supper fast to set up Because you 90* to the ridge line you will need a wider tarp to provide addiquet cover my second pick up was a used Crosman MAR 177 I am excited to get this one in This is a pre charged pneumatic match pellet upper that mates up to a mil spec AR15 lower uses a 10shot rotary magazine and charges using the charging handle just like a regular ar15. It is not semi automatic but still this should be cool as hell to use as a trainer on my national match rifle It has a match Walther barrel and apparently will hang close to an anschultz sporter.
