It's "out with the old and in with the new" season. Here's a few of the old up for grabs. 1) First up is a standard laminated VG-10 Fallkniven A1. Comes with standard zytel sheath, and a kydex one as well. Quite a knife. Just a bit too heavy for me. I've found my corner of the gear industry, and it errs on the ultralight side a bit more. This one is used and it is evident. Nothing wrong with it, just some wear on the rubber and sharpening marks on the blade. How about $145 shipped stateside? 2) Next is a Spyderco Manix 2 lightweight in S110V steel with the dark blue handles. This is an excellent user. No complaints about this one (love the ball bearing lock and the ergonomics), but I have several of the lightweight Spydercos, and this one keeps getting bumped to the back of the line by the others. Pretty close to original condition. I have done some sharpening, though. $100 shipped. 4) Some of the best budget knives I have used or owned, which is why they are still around after letting most of the others go. I usually use knives that are just a step up in price from these, which is why I feel the need the let these three go. Steel Will Cutjack (barely used, like new), CIVIVI Praxis (lightly used), and Spyderco Tenacious in red (lightly used). $30 each. 5) Fixed blade bundle. Mora classic 125th anniversary (upgraded steel, leather sheath), Mora 510, Vintage Kabar hunter with stacked leather in excellent condition but pitted blade. $75 for the set of three. Trade interests are limited, but I don't ever discourage offers.
The three budget folders withdrawn for now. Decided I should keep at least a couple of em around as beaters.
