Great week working with some lightweight techniques for cliff / canyon / waterfall rescue during Haywood Community College’s Wilderness Week. The weather came through again and provided a good challenge with thunder, lightning and torrential rain. Didn't dampen the spirits of this rescue team though. NC SAR teams never fail to impress with their professionalism and level of training.

Moving the victim along the creek bed is neat. Looks to be stable and comfy too.

Even with all the rigging, it's much easier than moving them through all the Rhodo on the mountainside. The pictures don't show it that well but this was a pretty rough canyon we were in.
