Just got this one in. ANDAR is the name brand. My first minimalist wallet. Light brown leather is the color I opted for, and only $19 shipped. Not an expensive one by no means, but, as my first, I wanted to see if I even like this type of wallet. Excuse my photos, I hate using a flash. Two vertical, and one horizontal slots: Same on the other side: Then there's another slot in the middle, to hold a bit of cash: With 8 cards in it: Sure is thinner than my former wallet. It's empty now too:
I carry a minimalist Remora wallet made from the same materials as the holsters. I'd like to pick up a Rookie recycled firehose wallet
@Wolfman Zack a minimalist wallet isn't meant to carry more than a little cash. I fold mine in half and stick it in my Rookie and it doesn't go anywhere. But it works for me because I always know what I have on me. I used to carry a micro until I ordered a RFF Rookie and that's been with me since. Now I use my micro for my certification cards for work and it stays in my cooler. My Rookie is still in good shape but it's dirty and full of grinding dust and what not. Time to order a new one I think.
The new RFF wallets are sent with that rubber band. Also they all have a small strap on the back to hold money but it won't be 20 bills worth. Note in my pics above the cash fits in fine. But it's not a billfold by any means.
Surprisingly, it's not terribly chubby when holding considerable crap. Mine is holding a truck key (the chip kind) and a house key in addition to several cards, licenses, etc.. and occasionally, money!

Switched to this from a tri-fold and never looked back. Really made me clear out all the unnecessary stuff in my wallet, and holds as much cash as I need. Always carried in a front pocket, I think I stopped sitting on wallets sometime way back in high school. The Recycled Firefighter sergeants also make for a nice little slip to fit your SAK and a small flashlight in
Out of all the stupid shyte I buy and carry around, wallets are not one of them, my current EDC "wallet" is a 1" binder clip, it holds about 8 cards, and up to about $500 in $20's before it becomes stressed. It works, it's secure(minus rfid protection), and it doesn't get overstuffed. Not too classy I guess, but I save my wallet money to spend on knives, guns, watches, cigars, and booze!
I've carried that same Saddleback one daily for several years. It's the only wallet I have and I don't think I'll ever switch to anything else. It's perfect for me.
I like the Saddleback a lot but find myself carrying the Motts leather more often. The single pocket makes it thinner and leather seems quality.
