I am looking to trade up my Maxpedition Falcon II for a LL Bean Continental Rucksack bit before I make the jump I wanted some input.

    Does anyone here have one?
    What are your thoughts?

I've been EDCing one for 2 years now, no points of failure, the bottom straps are short for a bedroll, however LLB. has extensions.
I routinely carry 25# and it carries well. Side pockets will hold a 32oz bottle and cup.

I would replace with another one someday.

Great pack for the price, especially if you get it on one of LL Beans 25% off sales. The new version has a dedicated laptop sleeve which I could do without, but I enjoy the pass through sleeves behind the side pockets for longer things like axes, machetes, fishing poles, etc. It’s my go to if we’re headed to the beach for a day because I don’t like mixing sand and zippers. Hardware isn’t mil spec grade but it works and as long as you don’t expect it to be equal to a Kifaru or a Mystery Ranch, you should be happy.
