I shoot hogs, often, but I'm ready to get into the hog sticking craze and purchased this knife after weeks of research. However, I'm a sucker for low volume sellers and personal sellers, so I purchased this from an individual for $88. My concern is that this is Chinese, soulless, steel. I'd hate to start liking this knife only to discover that I've been deceived by communists. Thanks, y'all!
Excellent! I did the best comparisons I could online, in my own feeble way, and while I couldn't find differences, I really wanted the confidence of a professional opinion. I'm goofy with my gear, I like to name my weapons, especially bloodied ones, and EVERYTHING, the entire soul of this knife, hinged on if it was Chinese or not. I'll name it, 'Teine,' now, instead of, 'Hog Yang.' Thanks a million, dude! edit: After further thought I'll name the knife, "McBurney," after the seller.
I see no cause for concern here...furthermore we've seen no issues with counterfeits outside the Izula knives... some out right knock offs but none with our name on them.
Perfect! Thanks for making such neat knives, y'all! I'm sure I'm gonna love it! Feels great, and looks even better!
I think it's a fake. You should send it to me right away for proper use, I mean disposal. Cool find at a great price.
