So, I hate to be “that guy” BUT I got a Busse and don’t know a lot about it. The guy I got it from had it given to him when he bought a rifle. He didn’t even know what it was until I told him it was most likely worth a lot of money. Anyway, here is a pic. Haven’t seen any similar logos. It’s a little difficult to read especially before I cleaned it. “ Busse Combat” Not looking to sell or trade. Just want to Know more about it. I believe it’s a Battle Mistress or that’s what I’ve been told. I looked on blade forums but don’t really like it over there. Any info would be great thanks.
Combat grade in infi steel fusion battle mistress i think.. theres some knowledgable busse guys here im sure somone can give you the full run down
Yes it appears to be an older Fusion Battle Mistress with CBT (that is the rippiling on the blade flats). It looks to be wearing black canvas micarta grip slabs. In all honesty it is worth about $55US and as a public service I would be happy to take it off your hands... Not actually sure what they are bringing on the second hand market just now, I am told prices are pretty soft on most things. If you were looking to see it you would turn it over at @550-600US I believe, maybe more if you are willing to hold out. That is a popular older model, not rare as such but popular and no longer made.
Haha not looking to sell at the moment. Thank you for the info. I knew it was d/c but didn’t know the year(s) it was made. I’m thinking 2007? Those internet Busse guys are hardcore though!
Two BeckerWest's ago one of the heads got a good deal on a Busse Fusion Steel heart. and I swear you, We cut something with it. So does everyone who cut something go to the museum or just the guy who bought it? And, another question, Let's say for the sake of conversation the cutting we were trying to do was by throwing the Busse into a very large tree, does the above museum statement still apply? This might be outside your "area", but you come across as all knowing ish, so I thought I'd hazard the question.
