Works pretty handy for roughing out a spoon.

@mtngoat if you want to impress us, you need to fully carve a kuksa with it. Or better yet, a table setting for a family of 8. Of course it would work out better if you bought the Libertariat's big brother.

Mine arrived last week and I got as far as unpacking it and transferring it to my workshop....then ran out of time to do anything else with all the pre-christmas projects I "need" to get done !!

Used my Libertariat last night to hack at the bottom of the Christmas to make it fit in the stand. After a while I realized I couldn’t get the right angle to make a decent cut and pulled out the chainsaw.

    Dear Expat:

In the future please make the hole in the blade larger. I am currently unable to lick the peanut butter out of this one.

    Thank you,

It looks like hair, which may have done some damage to the edge. Maybe you should take the day off and spend some quality time with your new blade. If you can't fix it, buy another one and ship me your damaged goods ;)

Just got mine and I’m really liking the size, heft and balance. This is a winner and a hell of a knife for the money.

I put it away for Christmas so I don't have any impressions from using it yet, but the wrap feels nice and grippy. Once Christmas comes I'll have some time play with it.
