yes and no......there is a major storm system moving thru......but from about oct thru may its rain rain rain rain.

all the local creeks and rivers are blown out, there is flooding in low lying areas and lots of underground parking and basements flooding because the storm drains are all full or overflowing.

and while it rains down here........up in the mountains , esp the Highway Thru Hell area, it will be dumping 3 - 10' of snow.

I love zippo hand warmers, I put one in each chest pocket under a jacket on cold days. The jacket helps starve them for air and holds the heat in. I have had them burn for over 24 hours like that, because of the way it slows the burn.

I forgot to tell yall about my close call last weekend. I was splitting firewood and my axe got stuck. I have been using a Fiskars splitting axe the last couple of years. I held the log down with my left hand and went to free the axe with my right. Because of the wedge shape of the axe head, it sprang up out of the log when it came free and came back down on my left thumb. It didn't cut through my glove but it hurt pretty good and scraped the hide off in two little spots.
