The 3, 3-cp and laserstrike have been amazing for cleaning deer. That 3-cp worked so well for skinning that it was my motivation for the 6-cp. I wanted it more for carrying while hunting and for finishing off a wounded deer or hog. Finishing off my last 8pt with a 3 was an experience:D

It was a similar pic from Baldy that sold me on ordering mine. I've got a weird feeling a non-clip point 6 will be in my future.

I find I'm starting to go to it as much as my laserstrikes and Junglas. Definitely seeing what all the hype was about!

Lol if only Jeff would make it like Cutco! Emac's caused me to buy most of the lineup, and I'm not the only one he's gotten to catch the disease. We'd all be pimp'n out Esee's everywhere.

IMG_0310.JPG So I just bought an Esee 6 in dark earth which comes with the canvas micarta scales which I have on most of my Esee knives and feel way better than the linen ones. So far so good. However, it ships with a black sheath and clip? Putting aside that a plastic sheath sucks vs. the Kydex offered with the 4, 5, Laserstrike and Junglas.
Why the F'ck not sell it with coyote brown sheath and clip when you make a coyote brown sheath and clip? However, if you buy it with the regular black blade you get a coyote brown instead of of a black sheath and clip!!! Finally, you can get it in the horrific and overdone zombie / venom green but not in OD? Seriously, Esee I love the knives but WTF are you guys thinking.

The 6 was a hold out in the color change category. Be thankful it even came in venom and dark earth. For most of its existence it only came in black or the group buy desert tan.

I actually wanted an OD w/g10'orange scales one but they don't make it OD which seems like such an obvious color. It's just so odd they make the coyote sheath and then include a black sheath with a brown colored knife and a coyote sheath with a black colored knife o_O

The green goes well with the tan and FDE blades.
