Mine came in Friday, but I was hunting since Thursday afternoon so I didn't get to use it. Initial impressions were good. Definitely more sturdy than I imagined. Also more weight forward than I expected. I'm gonna assume that's a good thing. Will definitely allow a smaller blade to pack a bit more punch. The handle is a little thin for my tastes so depending on how I feel after using it, I might add an epoxy twine wrap to thicken it up some. Oh and were the libertards only for the clever? I was kinda looking forward to having one to show off lol.
I personally don’t have one yet. But if u don’t like the sheath simply get for flex seal wrap and wrap the sheath. Stuff hardens
Good call on the dangler. I ordered both belt and dangler options from @Allen Morrison. Stay tuned for pics.
I tried it with a carabiner clip so I didn’t have to unbelted, but it hung like a dong too long and swung around too much.
I put my hands on mine last night finally. I stalked the kitchen and living room looking for something worthy to cut. I'm resisting the temptation to use it outside, because I declared it a kitchen/food prep knife. But....unless I come up with another deer, or a roast I want to cut up...it may have to go with me on a trip around the farm...
Then your not using it to it's full potential It's multifunctional - indoor, outdoor, chop the door down, etc.
Well I can't say I've lopped any coconuts yet, but this does a fine job removing the feet off a pheasant.
