    diamond plate or no diamond plate on the sliders? Anyone have a strong preference?

    Just got in the newest version of the Gator Jaw soft shackle. 7/16" with a claimed 32K lb breaking strength.
    I've used their smaller versions a bit and have been happy with them. Lighter than steel shackles, they float and if a tow point or strap breaks they are much safer than a flying shackle.

    I handled this one and immediately ordered a couple more.

    Got to use soft shackles during the land rover thing. Liked them so much I ordered two.

    They sent the ladder and hatch back struts free when I ordered mine. I like the ladder as much as I do the rack. I use the ladder a lot.

    that is a damn nice rig Jeff. :cool:

    how is the rear cargo area for gear capacity? ie enough room to have sliding drawers and secure storage as well as all the other gear that one takes?
