the little cabin in Cheakamus area of Whistler BC, that i use and maintain, got trashed by drunken grad students early this 2016 summer. Garbage , beer cans, bottles , food, etc all left everywhere as well as a live fire.

That always bugs me, you take the time and effort to get that far into the woods but don't have the energy to "wipe your own ass" when you leave. I would prefer if people like that would just stay away from the outdoors

Just glad you didn't post pictures of the gravesite since the authorities might have been able to track it's location. :D

I'm not so bugged by the garbage, that only took an hour to round up and bag.

But the food......it took me two days last year or so to sterilize that cabin with pure bleach and clean up the mice poop and all the poop dust. Then these jokers come along and leave mice / bear attracting salty food, bread and sugary stuff all over the place.

    Sigh.

Is this the same cabin the bear tried to have you for dinner? I know you had a killer picture of one of the cabins in the snow.

    Yes. Same cabin.

Trying to get to it soon for yet another cleanup, firewood restock and some beer drinking time.
