Our last kid hit the ground this weekend. Got 15 baby goats running around. What a great life. The top of our refrigerator is full of goats milk even with me trying to drink it down. What a great life.

Silly question but does anyone line dry their laundry? I've never done it, but am looking to save some money and some clothes and was curious if y'all had tips.

It will save on electricity, but sun will fade clothes. Also clothes will be stiffer, but let them mostly dry on line then finish in dryer to soften.

If you like stiff uncomfortable towels the sun is the way to dry.;)

.... probably 90% of the time, unless we have a week of rain. I think dryers are harder on clothes than hanging in the sun for a little. In summer here you can dry a big load of washing on the line in under an hour FOR FREE ... ;) Scratchy rough towels are really a FIRST WORLD ISSUE ....:eek::D:D:p:p

Anyone have any experience growing wheat for flour? Staring the information collection phase. Hope to have my own wheat for breads etc in the next year or three.

Ive ran a line under the deck to dry clothes. The partial shade seemed to help keep clothes less stiff. Honestly I haven't found stiffness or uncomfortable an issue with line dried clothes anyway. They dry quick and I suppose if you leave clothes on the line too long they will sun bleach a little so don't leave your prom dress on the line
