Hey flex what have you thought of your legion? I've want a 229 for a long time just wondering if the legion series is worth the cost
Flex love the looks of that Legion. ny700, thanks they are custom made ironwood ones from Hogue. I bought them off a guy a few years back over on the Bark River forum I use to hang out on.
Its my favorite hand gun, the trigger is absolutely amazing and I love the double action. I recommend when purchasing to look the handgun over really well, some of them have had some blemishes, mine is perfect. The sights are awesome, the finish is awesome, the G10 grips are amazing, there is nothing I would change with the Legion series. I've put about 1500 rounds through mine without a hiccup. I originally wanted the 229 until I held the 226, both are awesome IMO. The recoil is absent, its a damn laser gun....
Flex have you had any issues with those plus 2 mags? I read on another forum where some folks were having issues with the plus 2 Mecgar in the 226. The springs where getting weak fast and causing issues. It seemed it was just the 226 plus 2. I' carry a spare plus 2 for my 229 and never had an issue. I stopped carrying the extended for the 226.
