I thought it was too......but its a very well made copy. Its also frigging huge in person.<<<you could easily cut a 14" log with it.......

i'm going to go with this one: SILKY SUGOI 360 Heavy duty pro arborist saw

its got a multi mount heavy duty scabbard, and a lifetime warranty. Plus the blade is carbon steel.

At that size why not just get a real saw. I say that because at that length I'd be worried about the blade bending since it doesn't have a good width.

Let us know what you think of it after you put it to use! That is a damn big folding saw.

    its actually insanely STOUT......

normally for a big saw I'd fire up the Husqvarna.....but i dont want the noise, WEIGHT, and having to carry a chainsaw kit and fuel and bar oil .....

Understand this....my comments are in reference to the link in the op. Plenty of classic design hand saws that'll be better to pack than that huge folding saw.
Now as for the one you're getting that is awesome. I didn't see the post where you say about getting that one. I missed it.

I really like my Bob's Quick Bucksaw 24", but I love my Silky's. I still have to get a dry wood blade for the buck saw, and then compare it to my Silky's.

Biggest Silky I have is the Bigboy 2000. Maybe I'll do a comparison video of the two once I have a dry wood blade.
