Looks like the Arc'teryx Khard has been revamped and is now called the "Assault Pack"

    from soldiersystems.net:

"The big story here is a reboot of the Khard. Over the past few years, LEAF has named products based on what they do and the Assault Pack is a classic example. The Assault Pack is more refinement of the Khard than a completely new model and is still offered in 30 and 45 liter models. Many of the changes are in the lid with the zippered pocket on the inside removed and the outer zippered pocket given a flap and made slightly smaller so that the contents won’t fall down and pool at the bottom of the pocket.

The Assault Pack’s backpanel was also redesigned to make it more compatible with PPE. Having worn the new Assault Pack 45 for the past month, it still offers a comfortable carry while not wearing armor. In fact, the removable waist strap for both sizes was a welcome addition along with the thicker shoulder pads for both 30 and 45 liter models. Additionally, it’s now available in Black as well as Coyote and Wolf. The Khard 60 remains as-is in the line as a specialist item, although no Black color offering."
Not sure that I like that the inside pocket has been removed, but thicker shoulder straps sounds good, and black is a nice option to have.

It might be a little easier to find a Khard 45 on clearance now... my next pack purchase!

I use the inside pocket a lot on mine, but making the top pocket smaller is right on point. That ledge is like a black hole for small items lol

Utility Holster. I thought these were out of production but I see they are available on Amazon for about $19 which is a bargain. This comes with a belt built in, some external loops, place for your flashlight. I have thrown it over my shoulder and carried it around. There are internal pockets for organizing a few items, and a small pocket outside which is good for wipes, matches, swabs, Band-Aids. This is frequently in my Jeep. One is a stock photo.
