I feel like that's possibly the most under appreciated handgun cartridge out, especially for hunting medium size game animals. Love the revolvers! Is that high power one of the naval models, if my memory is serving me right I remember their catalog in the '90s having a more distance oriented model by some name similar to that.
.... great isn't it !!!! I always have a box of it around home, on a stinking hot day I love it. Bundaburg Rum also, if you are a rum drinker . Bundy Rum (White Bear to the locals) have done some of the best TV ads as well, you can find them on YouTube. N Frame Smiths are GREAT. I use to have a 6inch 29-2 that I miss !!! But if I could only own a single handgun ever it would be a BHP..!!
The highpower was the first semi auto handgun I ever shot. I was around 8 years old and loved them ever since. I also agree that the.41 mag doesn't get the credit it deserves. I sold two.44s after getting familiar with the 41s.
Yes it is an old 629 with round butt 44mag. It has had some 900+ rounds [I have lost count] thru it without a hiccup. I carry it on the farm and use it to hunt deer and bear.
