My knife was shipped from Texas. I've noticed others have shipments from a different state. What ever that means.
Mike and I police these types of companies all the time. Someone buys a domain and then wants to start selling stuff on the internet. No business license, no way to track them, etc. I have no problem with someone doing a startup company but when they start hiding their domain, don't have solid contact info and then start seeing IP bounces it tells me they probably don't pay federal income taxes or having a business license but yet they want to compete with those companies who are trying to do things honestly.
Well I got the zt620. Everything about it looks legit. I noticed too shipping addresses varies. Mine on box is Roger Claunch (318) 649-8401 Shipping dept. 8297 highway 165 Colombia La 71418-4339
Roger is Knifeworks. Great company. So, now I see what's going on. This UEW company is sourcing products through other companies and that's why some of the orders haven't been fulfilled. UEW, as a company, appears to own nothing but a website and are doing nothing but sourcing stuff from other companies.
To clarify I'm not bouncing IP addresses. I message from my iPhone on the forum and those are places I've been which may have something to do with it I do not even know how to bounce a IP address. I pay my taxes just like the next person does faithfully. Only thing private on my site is some personal info they advised me to protect when creating the site. I dropship some products from suppliers and I house some products. My number was taken down at one point due to demand and us just being able to cover more ground via email since we have a very small staff. I'm not a scam artist...I do admit I may have been in over My head when taking this on and when I have completed all of my orders and obligations this site will be down until it everything is corrected and no one has to deal with this anymore. If anyone needs a refund on something I will Always comply with one like I have always said as I understand this has been a long process to put up with. Everyone will get what's owed to them.
We do have suppliers and house products of our own. There were a few orders that I did reach out to knifeworks to help fulfill when I was in between my ZT shipments to our warehouse just so I could get everyone their orders who were behind. I'm Not scamming anyone nor have any intentions to. Like I mentioned everyone will get their products ordered. If refunds are needed I have never denied one
Fair enough, UEW. As long as you do what you say for our forum members then it's not for me to worry about your business practices. In fact, I wish you best of luck with your business.
Trust me guys I know this has been a pain to deal with. One thing I do promise everyone here is that this business will be great one day. I messed up yes but I won't let this stop me from doing something that I genuinely love doing. Everyone will get their items or refunds if so desired. After all orders are fulfilled I will be wrapping my business up until we get in place a more effective model. To clarify I do pay taxes and have my licenses reseller licenses etc
Like I said, UEW, I wish you the best. It's hard to get a business up and running so stick with it and keep pushing. Most of all, be drop dead honest in your dealings with the customers and it will serve you well.
Not really. It does make me feel better that Alan was stand up enough to order from another company to try to make up the delayed shipments. He probably lost money doing that.
Were you able to look into my order for the two Recon 1 knives I emailed you about and you said you would be glad to look into it on Thursday? I'm in no way trying to pile on, but just get an update to know when I might be expecting them. I didn't have any problems with my first order, which is why I was happy to place another.
I was told my order would arrive Tuesday, but it has yet to show up. With Monday being a holiday I thought it might come Wednesday or Thursday, but still no sign of them.
