Some cool Bushfinger threads over on the Fiddleback sub. In my opinion it is a quintessential Fiddleback model

There is nothing magical about custom knives in terms of real performance. There is something special interacting with a small business custom knife maker and their product that is a result of hours of sweat, time and energy in creating something functional by their own hands for yours.

1000% Agree, I was just commenting on the fact that the OP was stating the thread was about hard use and I certainly dont consider any of the tasks in that thread to be hard use with any quality knife with an intelligent individual hanging off the end. No offense intended.

Wasn't attacking you my man and I agree, hard use described online is pretty humorous and ambiguous. A lot of knife people overstate the average man's average daily cutting needs. Many fantasize frontier life, fondling knives over a keyboard worrying about how other men use, or don't use, their knives and gear. Pretty silly: buy what makes you happy, use it how you like, and enjoy talking about it online if that is your thing without that cloud of arrogance if you decide to oxidize a piece of metal.

I like the curves of the old school Fiddleback nessmuks. It looks like a good size too that doesn't give you a heavier knife like the fat bladed regular sized muks.

Camp Muk aside, if I had to choose one Nessmuk from the Fiddleback & Family it would be one of Allens Rocky Mountain Nessmuks.
