@Expat -- my wife does not hate you.........rather, she thinks you are as dumb as I am with all this knife tomfoolery.

Saturday around 2pm. He was a big eight point when I shot him. Once he died, he shrunk to a six point. Funny how that happens.
..... its kind of my default knife for many tasks when I am away from home. It lives in a bag that gets thrown in the truck every trip but it may go a couple of years with used. I was just sorting out some gear for my trip to NZ in Feb and pulled it out. Lost the original sheath years ago, on my duty belt it rode in a .45 1911 magazine pouch for a number of years.
I had one of these when I was teenager. Traded it for a Red Bone Coonhound. I forgot all about that knife until this thread come up. Just ordered one with the drop point & Black G10/Nickel handle.
I need this mug. Looks like a Deneen. The same company that makes the Death Wish Coffee ones http://www.buckknives.com/product/coffee-mug/95082/
This thread makes me wanna think back to my kid days. My first knife was a Buck Lancer that I still have. My dad has an old Buck fixed blade hunting/skinning knife, don't recall which model, that I remember him using for years. I'm gonna have to talk him out of that one.
