going up with a few well armed hunters soon.

was in the area (down at the HWY 99 junction) yesterday talking with a few ATV'ers who had stopped by the Cheakamus River. Im not the only one who has experienced weird stuff up in that area, Couple hunters on ATV's reported seeing a short stature male, very brown sun baked skin, approx late 50's age , walking the main trunkline about 15 klicks past the cabin, and walk into the valley. Carrying nothing but a well worn wood stick. No pack, no rifle no nothing.

That's some weird stuff there. Duct tape that takes some real commitment, way more than an inflatable

What I was trying to say was Wow!

Did you keep anything for some forensic work. Maybe stuffed with something that would have a date or place or name. What kind of paper. Office paper. Wrapping paper. Butcher shop paper.

I can't stop thinking about it.

Yea see that's weird. Something is up with that whole situation. I'd either steer clear completely or go up there to investigate ready to (possibly) defend myself with something bigger than he's got.

Hell; if a Junglas can take a pissed off boar, dispatching a miniature sasquatch shouldn't be a problem.

Im getting some game cameras to do some surveillance for a bit up there. I also have a kick ass perimeter alarm , multiple levels.....

with the heavy snow pack now......i have a feeling stuff that has been happening will drop to zero. Its pretty much snowmobile only access now. (or a 4 wheeler with chains and lockers) . you can hear them coming.

also now there is lots of sledders (snowmobilers) up there. They are good people and they maintain the cabin too, as its an emergency cabin for them . They have been alerted to some issues.

im also considering , at some point, seeing if i can BUY the tiny land the cabin is on.......

that wont be for awhile. The cabin needs work, thats a given, but a couple hundred SF of land shouldn't be that much .

i realize people would be pissed off if it became private property but, the cabin would be restored and upgraded and preserved....

When that image finally loaded of that doll on the fire it was the last thing i was expecting. The hair on my neck stood up... That is some weird ish for sure!! I agree with all ideas on counter intelligence to look into whats possibly going on. Specially since this is a place you only are not visiting temporarily . Hiden cameras what ever. If nothing else it could be fun.

Holy **** dude. I just got the chance to read through this now, after getting back from a search out on the back roads. Experienced some rather strange stuff tonight, but it all pales in comparison to this! Wow.

That effigy is not of crude make, crafted by someone familiar with making them. Approximations of joints and feet, large size, and missing a representation of a head.

Crude effigies more often have a representation of a head, stump limbs, and are small in size. This does not fit that description. The lack of a head is the most concerning part of its existence.

Why is that? I'm freaked out by it and now it's bothering me that it's authentic.

What are you guys talking about authentic? Does it matter if it was made by a specific person? I say its a ****'d situation regardless and i just want an update already! haha

While I question the knowledge of whoever made it to an extent, some cultures that used effigies to mark territory between clans would leave them headless as a warning to stay away.

Well yea me too lol. But if someone knows what they're doing and why as opposed to some kid who covered his sisters cabbage patch doll in tape it makes it creepier.
