Today was the first time me and Levi got to have a boys day out so we decided to go "hiking" and have some lunch with a fire. We went to Fish Creek provincial Park which runs right through Calgary. Aside from hearing some vehicles you would never know you are in the middle of a million people sfa made quick work of the fire wood I like this set up so well I sold my jetboil and it comes with two hand cups no outing would be complete without ample time for throwing rocks there is tons of cool stuff to explore in Fish Creek here's the blades lots of Beaver activity, but we couldn't find the dam More coming....
I'm not sure you would ever run out of little paths to explore down here Lots of water in this creek We decided not to keep looking for a bridge...... I'm glad my boots hold off a lot of water, my smart wool took care of the rest Found myself a nice spot to sit And Levi did what a 3yr old does best "muck" Thanks for taking a look!
Fantastic. I don't think there is any better family bonding than hitting the woods. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! He has been driving mom and the girls crazy so we figured he needed some time in the woods. Truth be told so did I
Thanks JAD! I got my first pocket knife when I was five but it really comes down to when will he be ready for one... And he sure isn't yet haha
Thanks bushy! I put the sheath strap over the pack strap, it's blocked in that pic and tough to see on this one
