    Wow, what a beautiful beast of a knife!
    Super nice setup.

    Curious about the balance of hollow handled knives... (Never had the chance to handle one yet) Are the a bit tail heavy compared to 'full tang' knives? Does that change with bigger blades like this one? Or are they about the same in how the are balanced?

    To your question about balance, well, within reason you can do it about however you like. This model is a little blade heavy since it is designed to chop well. Pictured below is one that I made to be a "light chopper," so I brought the balance back closer to the guard.

    Thank you! This one fits between the SAFE I and SAFE II. It has a 5.75" long blade, 3/16" thick. Aluminum guard and handle, so very light and nimble. CPM154 steel is now the standard in my shop.
