Those brown handles look amazing. The brown and black compliment each other extremely well. Just Awesome, LV,
Future fire prep. In the Adirondacks it was proper camp etiquette, to always leave the wood stove or fireplace well stocked and ready to light for the next person. In case they staggered in half froze, or just for simple convenience. This is just building some white cedar kindling for the next time. Not all batoning needs to be tree trunk size.
^^ those 3D natural micarta handles sure look awesome on an OD knife! I had my lunch outdoors today The Esee 4 helped me out
Interesting! Give them some time. I wasn't to fond of Ghost green Jade at first, but they grow on you. Or if you decide you don't care for them, you could possibly add liners to change the hue somewhat. I kind of like them. How do they look outside??
they're not bad looking, just different. I'll probably end up selling them but liners isn't a bad idea either. I haven't had a chance to take a picture outside with them, but I will later today.
I let this one go many years ago, I picked up the scales on ebay and had someone convex the blade and remove the serrations. With the removal of the serrations a little recurve form and that knive would cut.
Traded into these two recently. Not 100% yet if I'm going to keep them or what. I think the gray one is a Gunsmoke/Black combo. Not sure what the scale color is on the black blade, I can't seem to find any listing for it in the usual places.
I've noticed handling these smooth G10 scales. Considering selling these to get a 4 with the 3d scales in desert tan to match my 6.
Try washing them with hot water, dish soap and a bristle brush. Works for me to restore some grippiness after they get plugged with fat, grease and blood after processing game.
