Here are the pictures I have of it finished. I can't wait to get it in my hands. Screenshot_20210415-093045.png Screenshot_20210415-093033.png Screenshot_20210415-093050.png

I commissioned the same fellow to build another SAK for me. I had in mind a gentleman's knife with added utility for around my workplace. I specifically wanted the strength and light weight of titanium scales.

It's on the way to me now. Here are the pre-polish pictures:

So I was messing around on eBay last night just browsing some SAKs and bid on a nice Camper. Was sniped at the last second and moved on. The next was a Huntsman and Spartan pair for $25. I bid on it as well, expecting to get sniped again on such a nice set but nope! Inadvertently won them!

Guess I'll stick the Huntsman in my edc pack....

I enjoy a Huntsman for pack use. I've got one with the basically indestructible textured nylon scales, and it lives its life in my hiking pack.

The Huntsman and Fieldmaster (with philips instead of a corcscrew) are one of the most useful pocket knives. I am still waiting for the Farmer X to be had here.

I have to agree. It's a super useful set of tools if you don't mind the thickness. That wood saw is no joke.

The Outrider is also a great outdoors tool, packing a bit more punch.

Picked this up at SMKW last weekend while we were there for our anniversary. I've wanted an Alox Farmer for a while now.

Then yesterday I found this in a thrift store. If I've understood the info I've found on it, it's a 1977-1985 Champion.

I really like it! I've been looking for a used one to pop up for a while but they're usually at nearly new prices so when this one came up on sale at SMKW, I just threw down the money for it.

I did a plumbing adventure with my 93 old neighbor today. He reached in his pocket for his pocket knife to clean up a PVC pipe cut I had made with a sawzall. We were out in the woods by the Spring. To my delight it was a SAK. No idea what model. If it's good enough for Bill's pocket it's damn sure good enough for mine.

I have been really holding out for a Orange farmer to no luck..

So I picked up the same Alox Farmer as you when I was at SMKW a few weeks ago for my BD.

I’ve NEVER been a fan of the scissors in a SAK. But IMO it was worth it to get this SAK 3)

That's odd because the scissors were why I picked the X. I find them really useful and they compliment my Gerber Multitool really well to give be a wide array of tools. I'm too handy some times I think, so I never know what I'll wind up needing.

So I finally got me one of them Farmer X’s to replace the huntsman I lost a while ago. I did need to find a way to carry the tweezers and toothpick. I came up with a noose knot lanyard to hold both of them.
