    That's a Prodigy, right?

I had the Strongarm, which is similar. Damn indestructible knife! It was very thick behind the edge, when I thinned it out, the steel turned to be soft and couldn't support a 20 degrees per side edge. Shame as it was a good design. Very, very strong. For that price I would get one for the car.

Yeah it's the prodigy. Only difference between the two is the handle and sheath. I liked the strongarm but the diamonds on the handle wasn't very comfortable. The edge on this is really not that bad. I returned the last one because the grind was just horrible. This one is pretty straight. It throws sparks like no ones business either. Not sure what I can do to mod it, lol, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Couldn't pass this up for that price. Normally they're around 80ish. The "bar" I have now was 75 on clearance and it's wobbly as hell. I even had to put L brackets in each corner and it's still not really stable. These better Homes and gardens cubes are worth the money. Screenshot_20220115-130900_Chrome.jpg

I THINK I ordered the wrong sizes... Lol. Finishing washers are just a TAD too big and what I ordered for paracord beads are just a TAD small..o_O paracord in for reference. 20220131_130927.jpg

Picked up a Civivi Synergy 3. Always thought the design looked cool, and wanted something a little different than my usual. A6F42815-959C-433B-AA74-2E7840E4B52D.jpeg

So I just stumbled upon this and read your story about trying to buy your prodigy. I thought you'd like to hear mine.
So the good folks at wally world often get knives put back in the wrong spots and such. So I always check for this when I walk by. I happen to notice they had a prodigy in a slot for an $18 Ozark trail fixed blade and I told the ol lady I was gonna try to get it... well we were in a hurry so I didnt.. I told my buddy about it that night though and he's like all interested. So he wound up makin the 45 min trip down there that night to see if it was still like that. It was so he tells the guy give me all you got of em.. so they wound up having 2 of them and after 2hrs of waiting on them to figure out what to do, he got to purchase them both for $18 a piece. He came over the next day and threw 1 at me and thanked me for the tip and so we wound up with them for like nothing lol..

So basically you're showing me up.. Lol! Nah, that's a heck of a deal right there. I'm surprised walmart did that. Here, if it's in the wrong place, they won't do that. Fill price or bust. But the tag for mine was at the cheaper price so they had to.

Floor mats for the new van showed up yesterday.

Should be just two or three weeks left before the van itself is here.

I had the exact same experience with the Strongarm. It was strong for sure, but spending an extended period of time in the woods with it proved to be more frustrating than helpful.

As far as a recent purchase, the ESEE 5. :)

No more asking for or buying decals! Got a great deal also. Paid under 100 for it used on Amazon (nothing has been opened so its really new) but then Amazon delivered it to another resident (laziness?) instead of bringing it to my door. So I complained about the delivery and they ended up giving me a 30% discount refund. So $70 for the cricut and roll of vinyl. 20220223_122137.jpg

had to fly to another island for my son’s sports. Picked up a couple tourniquets for the hunting packs and some replacement Quick Clot. Thankfully my last batch expired. The sticker was a surprise in the mail. Came from a company I bought a mouthguard from. Getting ready to go back to bjj after a year hiatus. Thought it was fun so threw it in the picture

Mouth guard came in today. Fitted one tonight and the other is a spare. Went with Hunter orange so I don’t put it down and lose it.
