    We have had some really beautiful sunsets in Tsalagi country this week for sure.

    I haven’t been up quite early enough to catch a sunrise since the time changed.

    I bet they have been. My sleeping schedule has been way out of whack so I've been lucky enough to see them most mornings. The view from here helps also.

    Do you have issues opening The Knife Connection links with IOS devices with Safari?
    A guy is trying to order scales from them for me from the US but it doesn't load on his browser.
    Opens fine with Chrome on my end.

    @Bozho
    I just checked. There is a notice they would be out of the office for 48hrs for a medical emergency.
    Other then that not all the pictures load. But everything else looks to work fine.

    You ever stop and realize, “Holy hell, I own a lot of cutlery”.

    Axes, machetes, tomahawks, folders…

    I could most certainly still be using the first (of many) Spyderco Enduras I picked up in 07, my Ontario 12” machete, and my Eastwing camp ax for just about anything I’d need to cut…

    but I had to fall in with you lot…

    best addiction I ever had.

    lol

    It's been an interesting couple of months. I'm tired. Haven't been outdoors for much more than walking to the truck for work and a couple 4 wheeler trips.

    And dang this dark at 4pm stuff....

    Guys, roughly how long does it take to ship scales from TKC to a US address, with their free 100$+ order delivery?
    They seem to have send them today and the guy flies on the 5th of December - I think there is plenty of time until then.
    Made a typo with the ZIP code, hope it won't confuse them too much, at least the state and address are correct :D

    @Bozho
    3-5 business days I think is average from TKC.
    That said we have Thanksgiving in 3 Days.... And then Black Friday Shopping.
    So no mail one day this week and no mail on Sundays. Plus Black Friday shipping..
    SO my Guess would be possibly Monday the 29th but more likely Tuesday the 30th.

    Thank you! Fingers crossed that I have them on time, to avoid customs and VAT :)

    Hopefully it was shipped UPS. I've never ordered from TKC so I can't really say.

    I was going to have one of my US colleagues buy them and ship them to me as a gift, but our government made all shipments outside of EU pay VAT and customs taxes, because of Ali Express and other such websites. So having someone bring them while they're coming for Christmas was quite a nice surprise.
    Long story short - 110$ + 30% in taxes and multiplied by 1.7 to be converted in our currency is too much for 2 sets of scales. :eek:
