My new Fermzilla All arounders showed up today. I got two 30L and one 60L. I already have a batch of wine started in the 60. I may start a batch of strawberry in one of the 30s later.

Been wanting a carbon steel skillet for a grip, and I finally made it happen. Still working on seasoning it, though it cooked a great grilled cheese, and put nice color on my sauteed mushrooms. IMG_20210624_143346599.jpg IMG_20210624_143426759.jpg

Got a new hitch recovery point plus a winching ring and wrapped soft shackle to run it with. All things that go in the bag in the back of my truck with a firm wish never to need them..... :D :D

This is a little embarrassing but this is the first bed I've owned in over 10 years. It's a twin but it's new and it's mine. IMG_20210703_123839916.jpg

My ESEE hat was getting to the point that it was time to retire it to garden and yard duty. Picked up this hat from Condor to replace it. Moved the original ESEE patch over and found someone to make me a patch for the back. I'm liking it so far.

Just received a Snugpak "Jungle Blanket" that I am going to use as an under-blanket on my stretcher in cooler weather.

Not all that atypical and I've been there. Bought myself a decent twinXL with an inclinable bedframe in the fall and its the first time I've been able to consistently sleep in a bed since I was 20.

I should've gotten the xl, being 6'2, but wanted to save a little. Been sleeping on motel beds, and saying they're not the best is an understatement. I've actually slept better since I have gotten it as well.
