I wish I would have purchased a few while they were being made, plus a few others Miles made. It's a big blade, and weighs 2lbs. Here it is next to my BK9 for size comparison:

Sure is, haha. I need to sand the handle, and apply some Danish oil to it.

I've been debating on the bk9 for a while. It's a great knife but not sure I'd need anything that big, except to go squatching or just tear **** up lol.

The e nep us a beast. Talk about a wood splitting machine. I love mine. Like you I was wishing I bought another when I found out about production being stopped. I've got the modified machete(?) as well and it's sweet. Basically the same size and weight but looks like a giant cleaver.

Hahaha. Its definitely a good squatching knife. No, I really didnt need it at all. However, I wanted it. Gotta feed that damn steel addiction lol. My esee collection is about complete. So my becker lineup needs a few more before I feel ok with it. The struggle is real haha

As cool as the glow in the dark scales are, they were just too uncomfortable to use. Sure I could sand them down but eh. So picked up some Micarta and a new sheath. IMG_20210607_145859998.jpg IMG_20210607_150030774.jpg

Working on a bk7 for my friend here. Hate Beckers for the fact they have those stupid lines in the metal, they're a pita to get out. Starting with 180 grit though which makes it a tad easier. She ordered these really pretty scales too and the stencil for the etching IMG_20210612_175544159.jpg IMG_20210612_170844906.jpg IMG_20210612_155457705.jpg IMG_20210612_155517940.jpg

8 hours later and only one side done.. It's a little shiny.. Still need to do the other side, obviously, IMG_20210612_235102963.jpg IMG_20210612_235117951.jpg IMG_20210612_235351551.jpg IMG_20210612_235401014.jpg and etch the horse on it.

Those lines don't make much of a difference for people that actually use their knives, haha. :D
