I went to burger King for lunch. The woman handing out the food at the drive thru asked me if I ordered a 10 piece and jalapeno poppers. I said no, I ordered a 10 piece and cheesy tots. She said oh, ok and handed me the bag with poppers instead of tots even though I told her that wasn't what I ordered.

Last week I went to McDonald's. I went in because the drive thru line was too long. I stood at the counter behind a guy that said he already ordered for about 5 minutes. Finally a guy came out and asked me if I knew how to use the kiosk to order. I said I could figure it out but I would rather just go somewhere else.

I hate fast food places, they're like chrysler products, I want to burn them all.

Got taco bell yesterday and ordered a chalupa Supreme and 6 tacos. And for the third time in a row I got a gordita and I'm still wondering where the beef is. $4 for the "chalupa" also. And their Doritos tacos are almost $3 each?? I don't think so. IMG_20210329_151111434.jpg IMG_20210329_151230468.jpg

Our Taco bell is pretty awful. I actually had the cashier get pissed at me for wanting the correct change once. Like WTF?!?

I use the app to order now, that's helped a bit. No listening or dealing with money, just make what the screen tells you to. Idiocracy coming to fruition....

So, I recently set up a Twitter account so I could have better access to local news.
All the local ones have their own apps, but they barely update them with new content.

Anyway, good example just popped up of why I don’t mess with social media much.

I just had an ad pop up for something that I have never looked at or searched out on my personal devices.
I have visited this particular website on my work laptop (that I do not own), and also spoken about it verbally on my work phone (again, I do not own this either).

My work stuff and personal is completely separated.

And yet, here I am getting ads for this website/service on my personal phone on Twitter.

I can only assume that they have access to the microphone and are always listening.

It's happened to me quite a few times with Facebook. My friend and I will talk about something and lo and behold, there's an ad for it on Facebook. I have all microphone permissions denied with every app I have except the ones that absolutely need the mic. F***erberg at his best.

I saw a post on Facebook that skull junglas are selling for 250 dollars. Is this real life?

I tried the Twitter thing a few years ago to keep up with weather and traffic stuff when traveling. It didn't take long for me to get rid of it. Between the constant retweets of Orangemanbad/celebrity news/etc breaking news from the local channels' weather and traffic SPECIFIC accounts and the obvious information mining the value to BS cost wasn't worth it.

I still use Instagram a very limited amount. I'll be upgrading phones soon and I doubt I'll put the app on it. It and forums are the only type of social media I use.

That big southern storm system got us good last night...
Heavy rain, wind and Hail all night...
We were lucky as they had LARGE hail not far from us..

Our windshields def got a little pitted. But one car that had a previously repair rock chip might be a goner.. Looks like the polymer or what ever they use to seal the glass was knocked out and now has a nice little divett..

    Oh spring in the south...

We had a lot of rain last night. Still water running through the yard this morning. I need to do some work with a backhoe and get some drainage straightened out.

We had a tornado warning pop up suddenly the other night.

It dissipated quickly however, turned into a non event.

The official rain totals are in.. Looks like we got at-least 6 inches of rain in a 36hr period!
The freshly tilled and leveled back yard I was getting ready for grass sadly didn’t survive the rain...
Looks like I know what I’m doing again next weekend..

Anyone else have a great winter? Hospitalized twice AND a broken ankle. I'm getting too old for this.
