Saw this on the Gram/FB the other day and it got me thinking... I like the design...

I like the design and also thought about a Seax pattern (down below) ...what does the peanut gallery say?

They look neat. The drop point just makes it a Junglass II HM doesn't it?

similar blade shape...different steel, country of origin, and price point... I will say that we have been shocked by the response and following of the Libertariat. Many love to use it in the kitchen and that's where the thinner blade shines and feels vastly different than the Junglas 2.

I was just meaning overall appearance and basic dimensions.

IE "That's about what the size and shape of a Junglass II would be if they made a HM variant."

I like it, but I still prefer the squared off tip. Most of the landscape I spend time on is reclaimed strip mine. The terrain is a lot of small rolling spoil banks. The ability to use a machete and not worry about impaling myself is what I really dig about this blade. So much so that I've considered squaring or rounding off the point on my other machetes just for peace of mind.

Looks neat, yes. Would I buy one? No.
You know I love the libertariat, but it sees mainly garden, orchard, and light fence cleanup nowadays. No stabby needed. Also gets kitchen duty where no stabby required.

The squared tip works great for us. If I need different, the junglas or junglas2 come out to play.
