I ask because we just got a Christmas gift that was one of those along with an item that is a handled piece of skinny flat metal slightly bent towards the end and a bowl with thin cloth on it. We had no idea what it was. It's a Danish sourdough bread making kit.

Finished a couple sheaths for a couple knives I’d made before Christmas. First time using water Buffalo and Chicago screws. What do you guys think?

Thank you! My wife, kids and I came up with the name Mythical Beast Forge and both of those are prototypes for my model called the Siren. I ended up making the new version with a little more narrow and recurved blade.

Just finished 2 of the 3, now I have to make sheaths. The knife with natural micarta is almost identical to the pass around blades. The only difference is the stock thickness and it will have a black scale on one side.

Not a leather worker by any stretch, but am definitely a “figure it out if you think you can” sort of person. So when a knife I ordered didn’t come with a sheath I knew I was gonna have to make one. I knew kydex would be a lot more easy, but the knife was begging for leather, and I had some laying around. I went with a Hudson Bay style sheath. Stitched with artificial sinew and currently wet forming it. All in all, definitely some stuff I would do differently next time, but I like it enough to wear it, so considering it a success. More pics later. F365D3D5-5516-4A1C-9735-3DDD3E35B3F7.jpeg

Finished these today, next come the pants. My wife claimed the hidden pin one after I gave her the steak knife.....they were put to use as soon as I finished sharpening them. 249173D0-8239-4469-88DC-16A54E70FC80.jpeg 98594FC0-99EA-420E-8F8B-5226D659A359.jpeg F23839F9-22AF-4454-A1B0-4DF8530A6C01.jpeg E345D640-89D1-499F-9F29-F619896B022B.jpeg FF37B0DA-FEFA-4A80-B4FC-7F3FFDF0A127.jpeg
