I know @JMJ is there, I'm sure there will be others affected too.

    Picked this up today!

    received_354283785577404.jpeg

It needed some adjustments on the ash system and I fired it up and fixed baked potatoes and chicken breasts for supper.

It worked really nice! That propane coal lighter is pretty slick!

My 10 months of counting down to a epic move just turned into a indefinite TBD... BUT on the upside... Never mind.. This just sucks...

So far (knock on wood) the single income household is working out okay.

We pretty much cut out eating out altogether, except for getting the boys some happy meals about once every week or two.
Covid actually helped us get away from eating out anyway. I’ve been out a few times with customers, wife and kids haven’t been to a restaurant since March.

No more frivolous purchases from Amazon or elsewhere.
Groceries purchased online to cut out impulse buying, goal for that is $100 per week.

It’s tight, and not easy. But I was telling the wife last night once we really get the hang of it and also get rid of a little debt we have, we will be better for it.
Then when she starts working again in a few years whatever money she makes will seem like so much more than it did before, just due to our adjusted lifestyle.

After almost two weeks of trying to get my things from the egg donor, she finally dropped them off at my brothers yesterday. However, she decided to keep a few things for herself. My tools, the boots and cologne she bought me, my lansky sharpening kit, my etching charger and my backpack.. Within that back was three kits, fire kit (maxpedition fatty pouch), first aid kit, my edc kit (another maxpedition fatty pouch) and the esee 6 my daughter bought me. I texted her but no reply so tried to call and she has blocked me. I leave Friday so not sure if calling the cops will do any good at this point but I still might just because.

@Drew RedBear Make a detailed itemized list ahead of time, call the police to report it and make sure to tell them you are leaving town on Friday. Ask them if they would accompany you to her house to recover your items. If not try and go there in person and if she won’t give them up then call the police as you are there and ask them to come out to help “resolve” the situation.

I'll try that but not sure I can get down there. This is everything she stole.

    I'm missing:

    Backpack w/items (worth about $400)

Native jewelry hand made for Emily and I and other native gifts (worth a lot of money)

    Hair clippers

Beard trimmers (but put the attachments in) other toiletries were there except my toilet paper

Lansky knife sharpening kit (have about $100 into that)

    Charger for working on knives

    Grandpas medals she gave me

And she went through my paperwork and stole everything I've ever had about the adoption, including the original non identifying info.

Dremel tool that my bio dad gave me

Everything that's missing, was with items that I got. And yet she left the stupid balloons she got me when we first met..

Wifey talked me into ordering a smaller (kids sized) Bow for her to use.

After doing the research on which one to get her. It really makes me want to get a different bow(More primitive) to play around with :)

I have two 1982 Honda C70’s I’ve been working off and on with for a while.

Today was the big day for the front end swap and it was “eventful” I don’t have a proper Motorcycle stand or jack so I’ve been using a stationary bike bracket as a front wheel choke.

When all was done the wifey asked if I had been laying in the street and had got run over. Dirt bike tire tracks from hip all the way up my shirt.

BUT my “Bugout” scooter is well on its way now :)

Hazy in Tulsa today, I can only assume it is smoke from the fires out west.

I have family that lives in the middle of all the forest fires out west. (They are well out of harms way) The smoke is so bad there that they haven’t “seen the sun” for days. All their pictures are yellows, oranges and red sky’s. The sun back lights all the smoke and it appears like a weird glowing Orb in the sky :)
