Haha! Yeah, the more I looked into it the more I realized that top flap pocket would be awesome for small items like sunglasses. The vecro under the flap would be amazing for my tool roll. Having the V2 would be nice, but not really worth it if I'm unable to recoup some cost.

It's all good. The Heavy Recon I just ordered will be my fourth. I've enjoyed them all, especially since I started hanging a bino pouch off them. I'm thinking that the Heavy Recon wil be the 'just right' one. The video above clued me in to why the Snubby Recon has been a little problematic for me. I miss Brick & Morter storefronts and might have to mosey on back to Grand Junction again one day to check out the HPG store.

Looks like I might be getting a fourth one. Lol. That elk brown is too damn sexy. :D:p Lol Same color as my Tara.

I’ve always thought it would be great to have one on while kayaking. Never thought about putting over my PFD. Going to give that a try.

Heavy Recon is my favorite and gets the most use.
Recon second place (First place before heavy recon) because of its slim profile. I do have a pouch on the front for my big ass phone and it still maintains a slim profile.
I tried the snubby but the straps ran up on both sides of my neck.

Man my wallet is mighty happy I don’t live close to their store. :p:rolleyes:

I picked up an HPG Junction pack. Planning on taking it on a little hike tomorrow.
It looks pretty nice so far. So I guess we'll see what we'll see.
    Standby...

Not sure if this SAR kit bag is a @5col exclusive. I haven't seen the colorway anywhere else. It's amazing. 20200925_161557.jpg
